So I saw this commercial on TV the other night and I can't get it out of my head.
It's a commercial for an assisted living center for elderly people. You see an old lady talking about her 90th birthday and how much fun she had at her party. The interview with the lady is sprinkled with clips of her party; people in wheelchairs eating cake, she blows out her candles, opens presents and what not. At the end of the commercial you see a picture of the facility, at the bottom of the page the telephone number and at the top the name of the place. Over all of that the announcer says, "Call toll free today to find out more about out dementia program." (!)
Seriously?!?! Was that birthday party really a delusional dream of some crazy old lady? Is that assisted living home really a crazy house? Is that not the funniest thing you've heard all day?
Probably.
